Thank you for purchasing from Buds Pools & Spas. You can be confident that your spa has been built to the highest standards and will provide you with years of quality spa pleasure. The following outline will inform you of the necessary details required for a safe, difficulty free delivery and installation. Please take the time to carefully read the following information and do not hesitate to ask any questions.
- Delivery dates are scheduled with the customer the day the spa arrives at the warehouse. All balances are due and payable in full 48hrs in advance of delivery. This is non-negotiable. Balance is to be paid by Credit Card, Certified Cheque or Bank Draft, CASH will only be accepted by the store manager. All financing documents must be signed prior to delivery.
- Where the customer refuses to accept delivery for whatever reason, for longer than 30 days past the estimated delivery date stated in the proposal, Buds Pools & Spas shall have the option to of increasing the outstanding balance by 1.5% per month to cover the increased cost of storage.
- All electrical responsibilities are that of the purchaser. All electrical work should be completed by a qualified licensed electrician. Any permits that may be required are the responsibility of the spa owner. (i.e. Electrical, Building, Hot Tub & Gazebo permits) Buds Pools & Spas is not licensed to perform any electrical work. The spa owner is responsible for any and all costs associated with the electrical connection of their spa. - Delivery & Setup is extra unless stated in the pricing proposal The Delivery Team will provide 2 men for each delivery purchased, who will assist the customer with placement of the spa with a spa dolly. More help may be necessary for tough deliveries. If you are unsure, please request a site inspection. The customer is responsible for inspecting the product after removal from the truck and having the driver sign for verification of any issues.
a) You as the spa purchaser agree not to hold Buds Pools & Spas and/or its employees or affiliates liable for any accidents or illnesses caused by the setup & delivery of your new spa.
b) Ground preparation is not included in the sale of any spa or gazebo. The location where you are planning to put your spa and/or gazebo must be completely prepared. This includes having it level and made to the right dimensions. It is the customer’s responsibility for checking city/region ordinances regarding any building or permit requirements and fees.
- It is the responsibility of the customer to provide clear access and to remove any and all obstacles that may limit or block the path of your spa to its destination. The delivery team are not equipped to remove gates, fences, air conditioning units, doghouses, etc. Additional costs for cranes, boom trucks, etc. are the responsibility of the spa owner. Any Snow Removal is the responsibility of the customer, including a path from the street to the area of delivery (40” wide).
- The time to deliver your spa varies depending on the complexity of the set up. All delivery and set-up times are approximate only. Please understand sometimes we face unexpected challenges and delays. If your delivery is late do not hesitate to call your sales representative or local store for an update.
a) Your new spa comes with protective packaging that may be left for you to dispose with your regular recycling and waste disposal.
b) Cancellation Fees – If for any reason you need to cancel or postpone the delivery within 48 business hours of your confirmed delivery date & time, a cancellation charge will be applied.
- An Spa School covering both water chemistry and operation of your hot tub will be provided by your sales representative post delivery of your spa. We recommend that you bring in a sample of your spa water 2-3 days following the delivery of your new spa for a complete computerized water analysis at no charge. It is the sole responsibility of the spa owner to ensure the spa water is balanced. Damage to components caused by poorly maintained water chemistry will not be covered under the warranty.
Warranty Information
- Full warranty details include what is and will not be covered under warranty will be shipped with each unit.
- Bud's Spas & Pools reserves the right to charge a travel fee to cover the distance from the retailer’s location to your home. Travel is not covered by Manufactures Warranty.
- The spa is equipped with access panels on all four sides. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide access of at least 24 inches clearance to these panels as required, for any maintenance or repairs during and after the warranty period. You will be billed In the event we cannot perform service due to lack of access.
